1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you manually provide when creating an account, such as your name, email address, and account preferences. You may also choose to authenticate using third-party services like Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In, which securely provide us with your basic profile information (such as your name and email address) to create your account.

Additionally, we safely store data you input across our ecosystem including task logs, habit completions, financial entries, and optionally, Medical Vault information.

2. Device Permissions (Camera & Photos)

To provide specific features such as the Product Scanner and Skin Insights, DayDuties may request access to your device's Camera and Photo Library. We only access images you explicitly choose to scan or upload. These images are processed strictly for the purpose of returning product details or skin insights and are not used for any unrelated purposes.

3. How We Use Your Data

DayDuties uses your data strictly to operate, maintain, and improve the application. This includes using anonymized habit heuristics to train our internal AI Assistant to provide you with personalized routine recommendations. We do not sell your personal data to data brokers.

4. Advertising

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the free tier of the application. AdMob may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve personalized or non-personalized ads based on your device settings and location. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your device's native privacy settings.

5. Data Security & Storage

Protecting your data is our highest priority. All data, especially information loaded into your Health and Finance modules, is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard protocols. Access to your DayDuties account requires authenticated login procedures, and we support biometric protections (such as FaceID or Fingerprint) on supported mobile clients.

6. Third-Party Integrations

We may share limited, necessary data with trusted third-party service providers exclusively to facilitate our services. These providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and data processing standards aligned with our own:

• Payments: Stripe and Razorpay (for secure processing of premium subscriptions).
• Infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Firebase (for secure database hosting and authentication).

7. Account Deletion & Your Privacy Rights

You have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data permanently from our servers at any time. You can request the complete deletion of your DayDuties account and all associated data from within the app:

1. Open the DayDuties app and navigate to Settings (or Profile).
2. Select Account Settings.
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm your choice.

Upon initiating account deletion, all of your personal data, health logs, financial entries, and extracted subscription data will be securely and irreversibly wiped from our production databases immediately. If you require a full data export, you may request one by contacting our privacy team.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you the Service. If you choose to delete your account, your data (including Health and Finance logs) is securely and irreversibly wiped from our production databases immediately, barring legal compliance requirements.

9. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

DayDuties is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately so we may terminate the account and remove the data.
